Fryer Bites Meal & Wellness Log: Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 31, 2026.
This policy describes the standalone Fryer Bites Meal & Wellness Log app for Android and web, provided by Fryer Bites. The app is designed as a manual food and personal wellness logger for adults, not a medical device.
Information you choose to save
You can enter foods, quantities, calories, carbohydrates, sodium, an optional calorie goal, blood glucose readings, blood pressure and pulse, weight, water glasses, menstrual period start dates, and optional profile details such as age and self-reported health conditions.
How the app stores this information
In the supplied standalone version, the app stores entered information in local storage on your device or browser. It does not create an account, run app analytics, show advertising, or send these logs to a Fryer Bites server. No external analytics or advertising SDK is bundled in the app. The Android app uses an embedded web view to store app data locally.
Local storage is not encrypted by the app itself. Anyone with access to your unlocked device, browser profile, copies of exported files, or other software that can access that storage may be able to see it. Browser storage can be erased by browser settings or private browsing. Your operating system or installed browser may independently back up device or browser data, depending on your settings; Fryer Bites does not control those systems.
Backups, reports, and sharing
Only when you select an export or share option does the app prepare a JSON backup, CSV food log, or plain-text summary. You choose whether to save it or share it with an app or person. Once you share or upload a file, the destination's privacy practices apply. Store exported health information securely and delete unwanted copies yourself.
Links to Fryer Bites
Some buttons open fryerbites.com in a browser. That website has its own cookie, analytics, and advertising practices, described in its website privacy policy. Clicking an external link shares the normal browser request information with the destination website; your private app logs are not automatically appended to those links.
Website hosting and third-party scripts
The standalone web app should be hosted on an isolated HTTPS origin without WordPress, ad tags, analytics scripts, or third-party scripts on that origin. Hosting this app inside a general WordPress origin could expose same-origin browser storage to unrelated website scripts. Do not embed it in a WordPress iframe as an alternative to isolation.
Deleting personal data
Open Settings → Delete all my data to erase all food entries, saved nutrient values, profile, glucose and blood pressure readings, weight, water and period entries stored locally in this app. Clearing only food logs leaves health data in place. Clearing your browser's site data or uninstalling the Android app may also remove local data. Exported files, screenshots and files already shared with others are not deleted by in-app erasure; you must delete these separately.
Security and retention
Locally stored entries remain until you delete them, your browser clears the site's storage, or app data is removed. We recommend a device screen lock and cautious treatment of exported health files. No cloud sync or account recovery is provided.
Health and age limits
The app is intended for adults aged 18 and older. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, emergency assessment, treatment, fertility assessment, or a personalized diet prescription. Food nutrients are entered by the user and may be inaccurate. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, especially about blood glucose, blood pressure, pregnancy, breastfeeding or medications. Call local emergency services for serious symptoms.
Policy changes and questions
Updated policies will be posted at the official public policy URL when the app is published. For questions, use the Fryer Bites contact page. Publisher identity and support details must be verified by the site owner before release.
